If you want you may also place suet feeders at areas where the birds cause damage, so that it becomes easier for them to get used to it. Once the birds get used to it, the feeder can be moved away from home, but slowly. The next option would be visual deterrents.
Another bird proof method of bird rid I found and is quite economical is to hang aluminum foil strips from awnings. If this option doesn’t work, a sound system that deters the birds can be used. However, this can cost a lot of money. For those who don’t have enough money to purchase the device, a cordon that covers the property can be hanged.
